Beach

At the beginning of the trip, it was a sunny day, but the weather chaned really quickly that I couldn't image. Most of us took a small bus from CYCU to Fulong Beach, Pony and I got the train to Fulong Train Station because the bus didn't have enough seats. We rented bikes and passed through the Caoling Tunnel under the mountain. When we arrived at the exit. I was shocked because of rain. It was really rainy and extremely chilly there. We stayd there for a while and got back to the train station. In front of the Fulong Train Station, visitors could see many lunch box stores, which have become the most well known local specialty. Then we got on the bus to seafood restaurant which called Lobster King. The food there was dilicious and the prices was not really high. After, we were going to the Fulong Beach!

We had to pass through the Fulong Bridge to get the beach, everybody was ready to play with water. Suddenly, Ivan hit the volleyball so strong caused the ball far away us. Somebody said maybe it woud float from here to America. Although the weather was worse, we still had a lot of there. I will not forget what we did there. We created many beautiful memories and I will keep in my mind.

Kingcar Co.

I had wonderful experiences last Wednesday. We went to the Kingcar Co at first. As usual, the company played a short video which introduced them in approximately. After that, the desk clerk led us ioto the factories. I saw the different prodcution lines that were really awesome. That was my first time to watch production process. The machines there run very fast which caused us could not take pictures clearly. But it did not matter actually. Although the desk clerk's English was not very well, he still did lots of for us as much as he could. On the way throught the different factories, I get a plenty of information which I could not get from books. Such as why thay colud control their quality easily. That was really interesting so we spent a lof of time to tour factories.

We got back to the briefing room and asked some questions. Most people had an enthusiast about asking questions. Because of this, we get great response. At the end of visting Kingcar Co. Thay offered us many kinds of drinks that made us would not feel thirsty. Such as coffee or mini-oligo. Therefore I took many drinks when I went back the bus. We had great time there, and I will not forget it.

FTV

On July 21, we had a short trip to visit FTV. After we were finished the class which was from 9:10 to 11:20, beacuse we had to eat lunch before we took the bus. Dr.Lu prepared a brief introduction about Taiwan and we watched a video that described the beauty of Taiwan in class in the morning. We did a voting that we must select which night market is the best one in Taiwan during the class.

The bus arrived at FTV at 13:40, so we had to wait a moment until 14:00. The editor and chief Michael who worked in English Program introduced some interesting things he has saw in Taiwan and what he did for FTV. Some of us had questions about Michael live in Taiwan. But actually, I did not agree with Michael's opinion. I still thought he did not understand Taiwan.
After the introduction, we took around FTV. We went into the film studio and everyone was really excited . Most of us took pictures there. Everyone looked like news commentator, it was so funny.
I had a lof fun in FTV, but I thought the tour time was less than my expection. I hpoe I can visit there again.

Visiting Taipei again

On the way to the National Palace Museum, I was so tired cause me almost slept. When I went into the lobby, I was shocked beacuse there was full of tourists from China. In generally, thay were always impolite that made them very annoying. Despite this, it was my first time to visit National Palace Museum so I felt really excited. There were a lof of valuable treasure in this museum. Beacuse of war, the government shipped approximately 600,000 treasured works of art to Taiwan.

I saw the most popular treasure Jade Cabbage and others there, and most our members bought some souvenirs for their friends or family, we could not tour he whole museum because we did not have enough time, we left the museum in the noon. After that, we went to the Taipei 101. I could not remember I how many times I have been here before. One of my classmates joined us when we ate lunch in the foodcourt. I ordered tai food and rest of the members had all the same as me. Paulina, Rick and I had some ice cream for dessert after lunch. Some of us wanted to go to the top of the Taipei 101. There is a observatory that you can overlook the whole Taipei city. That was really awesome but I still did not up stairs because of acrophobia. So I just took around Taipei 101 and New York New York. We visited the CKS Memorial Hall and took the jump pictures there.

Despite I was so tired, I still had a lof fun with all members. I hope next time I visit the National Palace Museum without impolite person.

The Hsinchu Science Park

Last Wednesday, we went to the Hsinchu Science Park which is located in the northwestern Taiwan. We entered the Administration Building at first, then upstairs to the eighth floor. We wacted a film that introduced the Hsinchu Science Park clearly and asked some questions. Presenter was so nice and always answered questions with smile that made us fell very well.

During the brief film, I got some information about Hsinchu Science Park. Their target is innovation for a better tomorrow and is committed to developing a high quilty life. After watched a film, we took aroud the Hsinchu Science Park. I found some brands that I have never heard before. Then we stop in front of display building, we had a lof fun there because of so many prodcuts were so interesting. By playing together, we increase our friendship between American students and Taiwanese Students. Maybe we can't spek English fluently, but we have passion and enough confidence. I still believe could be better and better in speaking English.

I harvest different kinds of konwledge about Hsinchu Science Park, it was a really good opportunity for us to chase something we can't learn from schools.

Taipei

We had a lnog trip to Taipei last Tuesday. At the beginning of the trip, we took the bus in front of Chung Cheng Hall. First of all, we arrived at Taipei Bus Station. Then we entered the Taipei Rapid Transit Co, we were watching a short film that brifely introduced the public transportations of Taipei city there and understood how they deal with problems immediately. We get around there and experinced some facilities thay offered for audience. For instance, interactive touch-screen, virtual bike , and something else. Easy Card was really helpful and convenient, you can use Easy Card to take the train from Keelung to Jhongli, to take MRT or bus, even buy something in 7- Eleven. Mostly, we couldn't live in Taipei without using Easy Card

After visited the company, we took the MRT from Taipei mian station to Tamshui, we walked through old streets and ate some snacks. I met Doctor Chin and Justin at the third floor of Red Castle with beautiful scenary, most of us took a lot of pictures there. Then we went to the Fisherman's Wharf. When I crossed the bridge(called Valentine's Bidge or Broken Bridge), I saw the gorgerous sunset with endless deep blue sea, that was really beautiful. At the time, David asked ''what's that?", Doctor Chin siad "it's dog shit!!". I was still laughing and couldn't control myself. After that, we went back to Tamshui by boat.

It was a really nice experience and I will keep it in my mind, I think the rest of the members have thinking the same as me.
